Tony Ellison

Tony Ellison is the founder, CEO and chairman of Shoplet.com. Over the last 14 years he has built up Shoplet.com as one of the largest, profitable e-marketplaces, affording over 2.5 million businesses the opportunity to engage in eProcurement and source products for the office cost effectively. Prior to starting the company in 1994, Ellison worked for Goldman Sachs & Co. in the private client services division. Shoplet.com has become one the largest pure play e-tailers in the USA and one of the few dot.coms reaching profitability in 1997. In addition, during his tenure Shoplet.com has attained 42 consecutive profitable quarters and triple digit growth year to year in a down and soft economy. He received his BSc in Computer Science and Operations from Columbia University.
